RACE INFORMATION
The BikeHQ Merida 12 Hour Day/Nighter & 6 Hour Solo Hammer is a not to be missed event, great
mountain biking combined with the atmosphere created when several hundred like minded
mountain bikers get together.
The concept of a 12 Hour Race is very basic. Simply ride as many laps of the 10
km (approx) loop course as you can in 12 hours. You can ride solo or in a team,
be competitive or be relaxed.

The Horse Paddock, behind the DOC HQ, Jollies Pass Rd, Hanmer Springs.
DISTANCE
Approx 10 km loop course (20-35 mins per lap)
COURSE
Excellent single & 4WD track within the Hanmer Forest.

UNSURE OF CATEGORY – If you are not sure which category you fit in,
give us a call/email & we will advise you which one you should be in, i.e where
there is a combination of ages.
JUNIOR RIDERS - The entry fee for Junior Riders in any team is $55
TEAM MINIMUMS - In each team category, there needs to be a minimum of seven
teams for the category to be active and competitive. If the minimum is not reached
then we will place the team/s in the closest relevant category.
